How to Play
On the word go, the children must place a ball on their balance pad and then both children must hold the balance pad without touching the ball
-
When a pair encounters a hula hoop they must pick it up and move through it as a pair
-
When the pair encounters the slalom course they must move through it touching each throw down disc before moving on to the next one
-
If the ball is dropped the pair must take it back to the start and try again
-
Once one ball is placed successfully on the end throw down disc, the pair can return to collect another ball
-
The Playgame is complete when all balls are on or around the throw down disc at the finish

Introduce six different sized balls and specify that the children can take two at once
*
Ask one pair of children to become taggers across all the gauntlets. They must carry a ball in the same way but can go across all the gauntlets attempting to tag other pairs. If a pair is tagged they must start again -
Change the balls to large sized balls - to switch the objects
*
Change the balance pad from a bean bag to a throw down disc - to switch the objects -
Place a bean bag under each arm of the children. Ask them to play without dropping them - to encourage a beneficial action
*
Create rest zones between each hula hoop using four throw down discs. Specify that children can put the balance pad and magic beans down inside of these zones - to reduce the possible options -
